Vegetarianism Grows in Kenya
Besides being famous for some of the world’s fastest runners, spicy seasoned collard greens, extraordinary scenery, and an abundance of rare and amazing wildlife, something else has put Kenya on the map: Kenya is the first African country to host one of PETA’s famed Lettuce Lady demos!
This Kenyan lady of leafy greens, along with members of the Vegetarian Society of Kenya, turned up on a Nairobi street corner today to spread the kind message that going vegetarian is the best thing that you can do for your health, for the environment, and, of course, for animals!
