Chickens are social birds who live together in flocks, often sharing food and nests. They are curious, interesting, and as smart as cats, dogs, and even some primates. Yet, millions of chickens are killed for their flesh each year, and millions more hens are used for their eggs. On factory farms, baby chickens are never even allowed contact with their parents!

The next time that you think about ordering chicken nuggets, remember the precious photos below and consider that if chicks could speak, each one would probably cry out, “I am not a nugget!”
