Playboy Model + Lettuce Bikini = Hot New PETA Australia Ad
Hot, right? The sultry star of PETA Australia’s latest ad, Sheridyn Fisher, has graced the covers and pages of numerous magazines, including Playboy, FHM, Cleo, Dolly, Girlfriend and Cosmopolitan. The ad campaign was shot by photo ace Neil Dixon.
Why does Fisher want people to go vegan? For one thing, vegans are, on average, fitter and trimmer and have more energy and stamina than people who stuff themselves with fat-laden meat, dairy products and eggs. And vegans have a much lower incidence of ailments such as heart attacks, cancer, strokes and obesity. The cholesterol in meat and other animal products causes hardening of the arteries, which slows the flow of blood to all the body’s vital organs, not just to the heart. And speaking of heart, there’s nothing sexy about someone who turns a blind eye to the daily suffering of billions of animals who are raised and killed for food each year or to the environmental impact of raising animals for food.
“I’m asking people to turn over a new leaf and go vegan”, says Fisher. “With so many delicious alternatives now available, it’s easier than ever to enjoy great food without causing animal suffering.” If you’re turned on(to veganism) by Sheridyn’s campaign, why not pledge to be vegan for 30 days?
