For those of you who haven’t read about Grace’s amazing story, let’s do a brief recap!
Chained in a dark garage, Grace knew neither love nor companionship. She was used merely as a machine to generate puppies, and once she got older and was unable to reproduce, her owner simply ceased to feed her. After all, you don’t become skeletal because of world-class nutrition. Watch her overcome such neglect and transform from a scared skeleton into an eating machine. Meet our resident mascot, happy officemate, and proud rescue dog—Grace!
This is how Grace looked when we first got the tip about a neglected dog in Cavite.
Despite being chained in a garage and beaten for the better part of a decade, even from our first meeting, Grace was always placid.
After just one month in our care, Grace is flourishing!
Although Grace loves coming into the office, her favorite place in the whole world is still my bed, underneath the blankets and all!
PETA members are often cradling Grace in their arms, which might seem strange to some.
YAWN! It’s a dog’s life—that’s for sure. She enjoys her walks, but when it’s raining outside, she loves to put up a fight.
With her winning smile and happy-go-lucky attitude, Grace has many friends and admirers in Legaspi Village!
Grace had never known what it’s like to be loved before, but she’s realized now how much she loves it! Here she is enjoying a cuddle with our vice-president, Jason Baker.
Grace is a real newshound for cruelty-to-animals cases. She’s always looking for updates.

Grace’s story has a happy ending, but there are still millions of dogs worldwide who have yet to be rescued. While the pet store industry continues to profit off the suffering of dogs in puppy mills, countless dogs are euthanized because they can’t find a home. Be a hero to a homeless dog!
