Israel Up in Arms About Cruelty!

This is amazing: The Israeli activist group Anonymous for Animal Rights has set up a hidden webcam that streams live video footage of the cruel conditions endured by egg-laying hens in factory farms (where most eggs actually come from). The owners of the egg farm haven’t found the camera yet, but you can imagine that they’re desperately trying to locate it.

Even though this stuff is hard to watch, it isn’t the only suffering that these chickens will endure. When their egg-laying wanes, these birds will be sent to slaughter. They will be hung upside down, and their legs will be slammed into metal shackles. Birds will then have their throats cut and be immersed in scalding-hot water to remove their feathers.
