These winners are recognized for their commitment to offering delicious and nourishing vegan fare, helping people improve their health while sparing animals.
Among the honorees, several businesses from Manila and Siargao Island have emerged as winners, demonstrating these regions’ vibrant and compassionate culinary scene. Winners will receive a personalized certificate and bragging rights!
Top Honors for the Philippines’ Vegan Scene
Greenery Kitchen in Manila was awarded the Best Vegan Filipino Restaurant for its mouthwatering vegan renditions of traditional Filipino dishes such as dinakdakan, inihaw na liempo, dinuguan, palabok, and caldereta. Greenery Kitchen also won Best Vegan BBQ and Best Vegan Palabok! Each dish celebrates the rich flavors and cultural heritage of the Philippines with a compassionate vegan twist.
Forget Meat!, another Manila-based gem, has won Best Value for Money and Best Vegan Pinoy Spaghetti. Forget Meat!’s sumptuous vegan version of the classic Filipino spaghetti has captured the hearts and taste buds of many—proving that delicious vegan food can also be affordable.
The Good Choices earned the title of Best Vegan Egg for its innovative and cholesterol-free vegan egg, providing a healthy and ethical upgrade to recipes that call for eggs.
Green Bar in Makati took home the award for Best Vegan Doughnuts, delighting consumers with various animal-friendly doughnuts in numerous delectable flavors. Green Bar also bagged the Best Vegan Burrito award!
101 Hawker Food House was recognized as the Most Vegan-Friendly Singaporean Restaurant for its vegan versions of traditional Singaporean dishes such as laksa and nasi goreng.
Ube Mama won Best Vegan Dessert for their irresistible dairy-free ube ice cream bowl, a tasty treat for dessert enthusiasts.
NUNÒ Vegan Filipino Kitchen claimed the Best Vegan Sandwich Spread award for its vegan liver spread, a delectable animal-friendly take on the classic Filipino sandwich filling.
Siargao Island has been honored as the Best Vegan-Friendly Tourist Destination in the Philippines. Known for its vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants, Siargao stands out for not exploiting animals for entertainment, making it a paradise for compassionate travelers.
