Animal Abuser Moves on to Human Victim
A recent news story about a Singaporean animal abuser who was charged with savagely beating another human being certainly came as no surprise to us! As police reports and psychological profiles demonstrate, people who abuse animals often don’t stop there. Violence toward animals is a warning sign of a dangerous pathology that we ignore at our own risk.
The good news is that this cycle of violence can be stopped. You can join our activist network and work with others in your community to make sure that cruelty toward animals is taken seriously. And by teaching kids the value of kindness and respect for animals and instilling in them a sense of compassion toward animals, we can help prevent violence in the future.
