PETA’s Condoms Hit the Streets in Shanghai
PETA’s pair of prancing condoms hit the streets in Shanghai, reminding responsible animal guardians that because neither dogs nor cats can wear condoms—real protection begins with ABC: animal birth control.
Thousands of unwanted animals are born because of negligence, and these animals are often abandoned. Life on the streets puts animals at risk of starvation, fights with other animals, injury, and abuse.
You don’t have to buy condoms for your cat or dog (seriously—please don’t!), just get him or her spayed or neutered. Take our pledge to always spay and neuter your companion animals, and be sure to tell your friends about it.
