Japanese Activists Turn Out in Droves to Protest Meat Consumption!
More than 100 people descended into Osaka’s downtown area in order to attend a landmark demonstration decrying the country’s meat consumption. The demonstration, organized by awesome local group Against Meat in Japan, featured activists who turned out from all over the land of the Rising Sun.
These brave activists hit the streets to protest the ways that chickens, cows, and pigs are raised for their flesh on factory farms, including cruel practices such as castration, ear-notching, and debeaking—all without painkillers. Many animals are still kicking and crying out as their throats are cut.
Say “Sayonara!” to the cruel meat industry by taking our Pledge to Go Veg!
